Jayme Carter

Jayme has 17 years experience working with children ages 2-10 years old.  She is a former public school teacher who graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University.  After earning her Bachelor degree in Psychology and her Masters degree in Teaching she began working with children at The Goddard School teaching PreK and Kindergarten.  Jayme then transitioned to the public schools teaching 1st grade and working with different ages in the after school tutoring program.  She won Teacher of the Year for Caroline County in 2022.  Jayme has transitioned out of the classroom in hopes to spend more time with her 5 year old daughter and teaching what really matters in a fun and engaging way.
